Queen Air

The Beechcraft Queen Air is a series of twin-engine light aircraft manufactured by Beechcraft (later Raytheon Beechcraft) from 1960 to 1978. It is a development of the earlier Beechcraft Twin Bonanza, featuring a larger cabin, more powerful engines, and a longer wingspan.

The Queen Air was designed as a corporate and utility transport aircraft, offering seating for up to nine passengers. Several models were produced, including the Model 65, Model 70, and Model 80, each with variations in engine power, weight, and equipment. The aircraft's distinctive features include its all-metal construction, high wing configuration, and two Lycoming piston engines.

The Queen Air found widespread use in various roles, including executive transport, cargo hauling, air ambulance services, and government operations. Its robust design and relatively large cabin made it a popular choice for operators requiring a versatile and reliable twin-engine aircraft. Though production ceased in the late 1970s, many Queen Airs remain in service today.
