Reftinsky

Reftinsky is a settlement in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia. It is classified as an urban-type settlement (a work settlement) and is located approximately 90 kilometers northeast of Yekaterinburg.

Reftinsky is primarily known for its coal-fired power plant, the Reftinskaya GRES (Reftinsky State District Power Plant), which is one of the largest power plants of its kind in Russia. The settlement was established in the 1960s in connection with the construction of the power plant and the associated coal mines that provide fuel for it.
