Redován

Redován is a municipality located in the Vega Baja del Segura comarca of the province of Alicante, in the Valencian Community, Spain. It is situated at the foot of the Sierra de Callosa mountain range and is part of the judicial district of Orihuela. Redován's economy is primarily based on agriculture, particularly citrus fruits and vegetables, although there is also a small industrial sector. The town has a rich history dating back to Roman times and contains several historical buildings, including the Church of San Miguel Arcángel. The population of Redován is approximately 8,000 inhabitants.
