Raquel González (athlete)

Raquel González is a professional wrestler currently signed to WWE, performing on the NXT brand under the ring name Roxanne Perez.

Born Raquel Rodríguez in Victoria, Texas, she comes from a wrestling family. Her father is Rick Desperado, a former professional wrestler. She was trained by her father and Booker T.

González initially worked on the independent circuit before signing with WWE in 2016. She participated in the inaugural Mae Young Classic tournament in 2017.

Her NXT career saw her aligned with Dakota Kai as part of a tag team, and she eventually became a former NXT Women's Champion and a two-time NXT Women's Tag Team Champion (with Kai). She also held the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship with Aliyah (although the reign was quickly vacated).

She was briefly called up to the main roster in 2022 but returned to NXT later that year. Upon her return, she adopted the Roxanne Perez moniker and soon captured the NXT Women's Championship.
