Out All Night (TV series)
Out All Night is an American sitcom that aired on NBC from September 19, 1992, to July 20, 1993. The series stars Patti LaBelle as Chelsea Paige, a widowed nightclub owner in Los Angeles. Morris Chestnut co-stars as Jeff Carswell, her adopted son and the club's manager.
The show centered around the daily operations and comedic situations that arose in and around Chelsea's Place, the nightclub Chelsea owned. Recurring themes included Chelsea's relationships with her staff and the various entertainers who performed at the club, as well as Jeff's life as a young man balancing his responsibilities with his social life.
Vivica A. Fox played Charisse Chamberlain, Chelsea's stylish and witty friend. Duane Martin appeared as Dexter, a regular at the club. The show aimed to showcase African-American talent and humor. Despite the star power of Patti LaBelle, Out All Night struggled in the ratings and was cancelled after one season.
