Blossoms (band)

Blossoms are an English indie pop band from Stockport, Greater Manchester, England. Formed in 2013, the band consists of Tom Ogden (lead vocals, guitars), Joe Donovan (drums), Charlie Salt (bass, backing vocals), Josh Dewhurst (lead guitar, percussion) and Myles Kellock (keyboards, synthesizer, backing vocals).

Blossoms gained significant popularity through online platforms and local gigs before signing to Virgin EMI Records. They released their self-titled debut album, Blossoms, in 2016, which topped the UK Albums Chart. The album spawned several popular singles and solidified their place in the UK indie music scene.

Their sound is characterized by melodic songwriting, Ogden's distinctive vocals, and a blend of indie rock and pop influences, often incorporating elements of psychedelia and 80s synth-pop. They have released several subsequent albums, including Cool Like You (2018), Foolish Loving Spaces (2020), and Ribbon Around the Bomb (2022), all of which achieved commercial success.

Blossoms have toured extensively both in the UK and internationally, playing at major festivals and headlining their own shows. They have received nominations for various awards, including the Mercury Prize for their debut album.
