Rajesh Tope (politician)
Rajesh Tope is an Indian politician from the state of Maharashtra. He is affiliated with the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).
Tope has served multiple terms as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in the Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha, representing the Ghansavangi constituency in Jalna district.
He held the portfolio of Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare in the Maharashtra state government under the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) coalition government (2019-2022), led by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. During his tenure as Health Minister, he played a prominent role in managing the state's response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
