Rahul Roy

Rahul Roy (born 9 February 1968) is an Indian actor, producer, and model, primarily known for his work in Hindi films and television. He gained widespread recognition with his debut film, Aashiqui (1990), a romantic drama directed by Mahesh Bhatt.

Career:

Roy followed the success of Aashiqui with several other films throughout the 1990s, some of which were commercially successful while others were not. He appeared in movies such as Junoon (1992), Sapne Sajan Ke (1992), and Ghazab Tamasha (1992).

In the 2000s, Roy ventured into television, participating in the reality show Bigg Boss 1, which he won in 2007. This victory brought him renewed attention and opened doors for further projects. He also explored film production.

Personal Life:

Roy was born in Delhi, India. His career has faced challenges, including a stroke he suffered in 2020 while filming LAC - Live the Battle in Kargil. He has since been undergoing recovery.
