Angela Thorne
Angela Thorne (born 25 January 1939) is a British actress known for her extensive work in theatre, television, and radio. She is particularly recognized for her portrayal of Marjory Frobisher in the popular BBC sitcom To the Manor Born (1979-1981, and a special in 2007), starring alongside Penelope Keith and Peter Bowles.
Thorne's career began in repertory theatre, and she has since performed in numerous stage productions across the UK, including at the Royal National Theatre and the West End. Her stage credits include roles in plays by Shakespeare, Shaw, and Coward.
In addition to To the Manor Born, Thorne has appeared in a variety of television series, demonstrating her versatility in both comedic and dramatic roles. Some of her other television appearances include All Creatures Great and Small, Three Up, Two Down, Cold Comfort Farm, Foyle's War, Midsomer Murders, and Holby City.
