Mercy (Steve Jones album)

Mercy is the second and final solo studio album by guitarist Steve Jones, best known as a member of the Sex Pistols. It was released in 1987 on MCA Records. The album features a more polished and commercial sound compared to Jones' earlier work with the Sex Pistols and his first solo album, Fire and Gasoline.

Mercy was produced by Bob Rose and recorded in Los Angeles. The album features guest appearances from musicians such as Rose, Mickey Curry (Bryan Adams), and Axl Rose (Guns N' Roses) who provides backing vocals on the title track.

The album's tracklist includes songs co-written by Jones, along with covers of tracks by artists such as Johnny Thunders ("You Can't Put Your Arms Around a Memory"). The album explores themes of love, loss, and personal struggle.
