Rage of Bahamut (TV series)
Rage of Bahamut (Japanese: 神撃のバハムート, Hepburn: Shingeki no Bahamūto) is a Japanese anime television series based on the Rage of Bahamut collectible card game developed by Cygames. The first season, titled Rage of Bahamut: Genesis (神撃のバハムート GENESIS, Shingeki no Bahamūto GENESIS), aired from October 2014 to December 2014. A second season, titled Rage of Bahamut: Virgin Soul (神撃のバハムート VIRGIN SOUL, Shingeki no Bahamūto VIRGIN SOUL), aired from April 2017 to September 2017.
The Rage of Bahamut: Genesis series follows the adventures of Favaro Leone, a bounty hunter, as he is unwillingly drawn into a quest to prevent the resurrection of the ancient dragon Bahamut, which threatens to destroy the world. The story takes place in a fantastical world where humans, gods, and demons coexist, often clashing with one another. He crosses paths with Amira, a mysterious woman seeking to reach Helheim, and Kaisar Lidfard, a former knight seeking revenge on Favaro.
Rage of Bahamut: Virgin Soul is set ten years after the events of Genesis. Humans have prospered by plundering from both gods and demons, upsetting the balance of the world. The series focuses on Nina Drango, a spirited and energetic girl who possesses a unique power, and her involvement in the conflict between humans, gods, and demons as they struggle for dominance and coexistence.
