Channel 33 (Israel)
Channel 33, also known as Makan 33, is a public television channel in Israel operated by the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (IPBC/Kan). It primarily broadcasts content in Arabic, targeting the Arab citizens of Israel. The channel's programming includes news, cultural programs, educational content, and entertainment shows designed to reflect the Arab community's interests and concerns. Prior to the creation of the IPBC in 2017, Channel 33 was operated by the Israel Broadcasting Authority (IBA). Channel 33 plays a role in promoting cultural understanding and providing a platform for Arab voices within Israeli society.
