Žagar (band)

Žagar is a Hungarian electronic music band formed in Budapest in 1999. Known for their blend of electronica, trip-hop, and alternative rock, they incorporate elements of jazz, ambient, and soundtrack music into their sound. The band's name, Žagar, is taken from the name of a small town in Slovenia.

Žagar's core members consist of Balázs Zságer and DJ Bootsie (Ákos Dudás). Other musicians frequently contribute to their albums and live performances.

The band has released several critically acclaimed albums, including "Eastern Sugar" (2002), "Local Broadcast" (2006), "Light Leaks" (2011), and "Lost Signals" (2017). They have toured extensively throughout Europe and played at major music festivals. Žagar's music has also been featured in films and television commercials.
