Preemptive Strike (album)

Preemptive Strike is the debut studio album by the British electronic music group Juno Reactor, released in 1992. It is considered a foundational work in the Goa trance genre, incorporating elements of industrial music, ambient techno, and world music influences, particularly from the Middle East and Asia. The album's tracks are characterized by layered synthesizers, complex rhythmic patterns, and atmospheric soundscapes. Preemptive Strike helped establish Juno Reactor's distinctive sound and contributed significantly to the development of the early Goa trance scene. Notable tracks include "High Energy Protons" and "Landing". The album was initially released on NovaMute Records. It has been re-released in various formats since its original debut.
