Pomirtsi
Pomirtsi is a village located in the Zolochiv Raion of Lviv Oblast, in western Ukraine. It belongs to Brody urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine.
Pomirtsi is situated approximately 10 kilometers southwest of Brody. The village's history dates back several centuries, with evidence suggesting settlement activity in the area before the modern village was officially established. Historically, the area has been influenced by both Polish and Ukrainian cultures.
The population of Pomirtsi is relatively small. The primary occupations of the residents are typically agriculture and related activities. Infrastructure within the village is limited but includes basic necessities like a school and local shops.
Pomirtsi, like many rural villages in Ukraine, faces challenges related to economic development and population decline as younger generations seek opportunities in larger urban centers. Local governance is focused on preserving the village's cultural heritage and improving the quality of life for its residents.
