VanceInfo
VanceInfo was a China-based IT outsourcing and consulting company. Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Beijing, it provided a range of services including application development and maintenance, enterprise solutions, business intelligence, and IT infrastructure management. VanceInfo served clients across various industries, including financial services, technology, manufacturing, and telecommunications.
The company grew significantly through organic expansion and acquisitions, establishing a presence in multiple cities across China and expanding its reach internationally. VanceInfo was publicly listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the ticker VIT from 2007 until its merger with HiSoft in 2012.
In November 2012, VanceInfo merged with HiSoft Technology International Limited, another China-based IT services provider, to form Pactera Technology International Ltd. The merger aimed to create a larger and more competitive global IT services organization. Following the merger, the VanceInfo brand was retired, and the company operated under the Pactera name. Therefore, VanceInfo no longer exists as an independent entity.
