Piliuona

Piliuona is a town in Kaunas County, Lithuania. It is situated on the right bank of the Nemunas River, near the confluence of the Praviena River. As of 2023, Piliuona has a population of approximately 500 residents.

Historically, Piliuona has been an agricultural area. In modern times, its proximity to Kaunas has led to increasing residential development. The town is known for its scenic location and proximity to nature, including the Pravieniškių Pine Forest.

Administratively, Piliuona is part of the Jonava District Municipality.
