Petro de Luanda (basketball)

Petro de Luanda, also known as Petro Atlético de Luanda, is an Angolan professional basketball club based in Luanda. It is part of the larger Petro Atlético sports club. Petro de Luanda is one of the most successful basketball teams in Angola and Africa, having won multiple Angolan league championships, Angolan Cups, and African Champions League (formerly FIBA Africa Clubs Champions Cup) titles.

The club's home arena is the Pavilhão Multiusos do Kilamba. Petro de Luanda has a long-standing rivalry with fellow Angolan club Primeiro de Agosto, with their games often being highly competitive and attracting large crowds.

Petro de Luanda is known for developing and fielding talented Angolan players, many of whom have gone on to represent the Angolan national basketball team.
