Peter Karlsson (footballer, born 1973)

Peter Karlsson (born 27 April 1973) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a defender. Karlsson spent the majority of his career in Sweden, most notably with AIK, Djurgårdens IF, and Örebro SK. He also had a spell in Norway with Vålerenga. Karlsson was known for his strong tackling and aerial ability. He was a regular in the Swedish Allsvenskan throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. He represented Sweden at youth international level. After retiring from professional football, Karlsson has remained involved in the sport in various coaching and administrative roles.
