David Johnson (cricketer, born 1971)
David Johnson (born October 16, 1971) is a former Indian international cricketer. He was a right-arm fast-medium bowler who represented India in two Test matches in 1996 against Australia and South Africa.
Johnson primarily played domestic cricket for Karnataka, where he was known for his express pace and ability to generate bounce. He formed a potent bowling partnership with Javagal Srinath for the state team. While his international career was brief, he remained a consistent performer in the domestic circuit for many years, taking wickets and contributing to Karnataka's success. His career spanned from the early 1990s to the early 2000s.
