Peter Godber (Canadian football)

Peter Godber (born October 26, 1994) is a Canadian football offensive lineman currently playing for the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL).

Career

Godber played college football for the Rice Owls from 2013 to 2017. He was drafted by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the first round, third overall, of the 2018 CFL Draft. He was signed to the Blue Bombers' practice roster on May 16, 2018. He was released by the Blue Bombers on June 8, 2018.

On July 6, 2018, Godber signed with the BC Lions. He became a starter for the Lions, playing primarily at centre. He signed a contract extension with the Lions on December 17, 2020. Godber was named a CFL All-Star in 2022. He signed another contract extension with the Lions on January 26, 2023. He was named a CFL All-Star again in 2023.
