Soulanges (provincial electoral district)
Soulanges is a provincial electoral district in the Montérégie region of Quebec, Canada. It elects one member to the National Assembly of Quebec.
The district was created in 1980 from parts of Vaudreuil-Soulanges and Beauharnois electoral districts.
Its territory comprises the municipalities of Les Cèdres, Pointe-Fortune, Rigaud, Saint-Clet, Saint-Lazare, Saint-Télesphore, Saint-Zotique, Très-Saint-Trinité, and Vaudreuil-Dorion. It also includes the Kanesatake Mohawk territory.
Historically, the district has swung between different parties, but has recently been a stronghold for the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ).
As with all Quebec electoral districts, the boundaries are subject to change following each decennial census.
