Pedrito (footballer, born 1989)
Pedro Rodríguez Ledesma (born 28 July 1987), known as Pedro or Pedrito, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a forward or winger for Serie A club Lazio.
Born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, Pedro began his career with Barcelona's youth academy, eventually progressing to the first team in 2008. During his time at Barcelona, he won numerous titles, including five La Liga titles, three Champions League titles, and two Copa del Rey titles. He was a key member of the Barcelona team that won six trophies in 2009, becoming the first team to achieve such a feat.
In 2015, Pedro moved to Chelsea, where he won the Premier League title in 2017, as well as the FA Cup and the UEFA Europa League. He then joined Roma in 2020 before signing with Lazio in 2021.
Pedro is a versatile player known for his speed, dribbling ability, and work rate. He is capable of playing on either wing or as a second striker. He is also a clinical finisher and a good passer of the ball.
At international level, Pedro represented Spain from 2010 to 2017, earning 65 caps and scoring 17 goals. He was a member of the Spanish squad that won the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the 2012 UEFA European Championship.
