John Coleman (Australian politician)

John Coleman (born 22 September 1943) is an Australian politician who served as a Liberal Party member of the New South Wales Legislative Council from 1981 to 1999.

Coleman held various parliamentary committee positions during his tenure, focusing primarily on law and justice. He was known for his conservative views.

Prior to entering politics, Coleman was a barrister. After leaving parliament, he continued to practice law. His political career was marked by contributions to legal and social policy debates within the New South Wales parliament. He is not to be confused with other individuals named John Coleman.
