NRG Arena
The NRG Arena is a multi-purpose arena located in Houston, Texas, United States. It is part of the NRG Park complex, which also includes NRG Stadium, NRG Center, and NRG Astrodome.
The Arena has a seating capacity of approximately 8,000 for concerts, basketball games, and other sporting events, and up to 10,000 for theatrical productions and other stage shows. Its configuration is flexible, allowing it to host a wide variety of events.
Originally known as the Reliant Arena, its name changed to NRG Arena in 2014 following the acquisition of naming rights by NRG Energy.
The Arena has hosted numerous events, including concerts, rodeos (as part of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo), graduations, conventions, and sporting competitions. It serves as a venue for events that require a mid-sized arena setting, complementing the larger capacity of NRG Stadium within the same complex.
