Joseph Ellis (politician)
Joseph Ellis (born 1946) is an American politician and a former Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing the 110th legislative district from 1993 until 2006. The 110th district includes portions of Columbia County and Montour County.
Ellis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bloomsburg State College (now Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania) in 1968. Prior to his legislative service, he worked in the insurance industry.
During his tenure in the House, Ellis served on various committees, including the Appropriations Committee. He focused on issues relevant to his district, such as agriculture, local government, and education. He did not seek re-election in 2006.
