Hibou (band)

Hibou is an American indie pop band originating from Seattle, Washington. The band's name is the French word for "owl." Hibou was formed in 2013 by Peter Michel, who is the primary songwriter, vocalist, and instrumentalist.

The band's sound is characterized by its dream pop and surf rock influences, often incorporating reverb-drenched guitars, atmospheric synths, and melodic vocals. Their music explores themes of introspection, nostalgia, and the challenges of adolescence.
