Paul Shaw (cricketer)

Paul Shaw (born 22 June 1973 in Rotherham, Yorkshire) is an English former first-class cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler.

Shaw played first-class cricket for Yorkshire County Cricket Club from 1992 to 1995, and then for Derbyshire County Cricket Club from 1996 to 1997. In 30 first-class matches, he scored 482 runs at an average of 13.02, with a highest score of 55. He took 24 wickets at an average of 56.58, with a best of 3 for 43.

He also played List A cricket for Yorkshire and Derbyshire. In 26 List A matches, he scored 149 runs at an average of 9.93 and took 14 wickets at an average of 38.21.
