Paul Rice (cricketer)

Paul Rice (born 10 November 1968) is a former English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman who played primarily as an opening batsman.

Rice played first-class cricket for Northamptonshire between 1989 and 1994. He made his debut against Oxford University, scoring 72 in his first innings. Over his career, he played in 49 first-class matches, scoring 1,867 runs at an average of 21.96, with a highest score of 104 not out against Leicestershire in 1992. He also took 2 catches.

In List A cricket, Rice played 41 matches, scoring 642 runs at an average of 17.35, with a highest score of 67. He played List A cricket for Northamptonshire and also for the Minor Counties representative team.
