Parking (2008 film)

Parking is a 2008 Taiwanese suspense thriller film directed by Chung Mong-hong. The film follows a man named Chen Mo (played by Chang Chen) as he tries to find the owner of a car blocking his vehicle in a narrow alleyway late at night in Taipei.

As Chen Mo searches for the owner, he encounters a series of eccentric and increasingly unsettling characters, each with their own stories and secrets. His initial annoyance gradually morphs into a disquieting exploration of the underbelly of urban life, revealing themes of social alienation, economic inequality, and moral decay. The film uses the seemingly simple premise of a parking dispute to expose the complexities and anxieties of modern society.
