Parkhurst (crater)
Parkhurst is a lunar impact crater that lies on the far side of the Moon. It is located to the south-southwest of the larger crater Freundlich, and northeast of the smaller crater Becker.
This crater is heavily eroded, with a worn and rounded outer rim. Several small craterlets lie along the rim edge, and the inner walls are marked by slumped material. The interior floor is relatively level, but contains several tiny craterlets. The crater lacks a central peak.
Parkhurst is named after American astronomer John Adelbert Parkhurst.
