PB Max
PB Max was a candy bar manufactured by Mars, Inc. in the United States from 1989 to 1990. It featured a whole grain cookie base topped with peanut butter and rolled oats, and coated in milk chocolate. PB Max was discontinued despite reportedly strong sales, allegedly due to the Mars family, particularly the Mars brothers (Forrest Jr. and John), disliking peanut butter. This claim is anecdotal, and Mars, Inc. has never officially confirmed this as the reason for its discontinuation. Some speculated that the introduction of M&M's Peanut Butter candies played a role in the decision. The candy bar has gained a cult following and is often remembered nostalgically.
