Ossidinge

Ossidinge is a village located in the Southwest Region of Cameroon. It lies near the Nigerian border and is part of the Ekok sub-division within the Manyu Division.

Geographically, Ossidinge is situated in a hilly area characterized by tropical rainforest. The local economy is primarily based on agriculture, with crops like plantains, cocoyams, cocoa, and coffee being cultivated. Trade with neighboring Nigeria also contributes to the economic activity of the area.

Culturally, Ossidinge is inhabited by the Ejagham people, who have a rich tradition of folklore, music, and dance. Traditional chieftaincy plays a significant role in the social and political life of the community.
