North West Norfolk (UK Parliament constituency)

North West Norfolk is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2001 by James Wild, a Conservative. It covers a largely rural area of Norfolk, encompassing the towns of Hunstanton, King's Lynn, and surrounding villages.

The constituency was created in 1974, replacing the former King's Lynn constituency. Historically, North West Norfolk has been a marginal seat, swinging between the Conservative and Labour parties. Recent elections, however, have seen a strengthening of the Conservative vote.

The boundaries of the constituency are reviewed periodically by the Boundary Commission for England. The current boundaries include the Borough of King's Lynn and West Norfolk wards of Airfield, Burnham Market & Docking, Clenchwarton, Dersingham, Downham Old Town, Downham Priory, East Downham, Fairstead, Gayton & Grimston, Heacham, Hunstanton, Massingham with Castle Acre, North Downham, North Lynn, Old Gaywood, Rudham, St Margaret's with St Nicholas, South & West Lynn, South Downham, Springwood, and Walpole.

The local economy is largely based on agriculture, tourism, and light industry. The area is known for its coastline, including the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
