Norddal (village)
Norddal is a village located in the municipality of Fjord, in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. Situated along the Norddalsfjorden, an arm of the Storfjorden, the village serves as a local center for the surrounding agricultural areas. Historically, Norddal was the administrative center of the former Norddal municipality, which was merged into the new Fjord municipality on January 1, 2020. The village is characterized by its scenic location amidst steep mountains and fertile valleys, typical of the Sunnmøre region. Agriculture, particularly fruit farming, has been a significant part of the local economy for centuries.
