Cherry (band)

Cherry was a Japanese rock band formed in 2006 and disbanded in 2009. They were signed to DefSTAR Records, a sub-label of Sony Music Entertainment Japan. The band's sound was characterized by a blend of alternative rock and pop influences.

The band consisted of:

• Kana Yabuki (矢吹香那): Vocals and Guitar
• Atsushi "Katsu" Katsukawa (勝川篤志): Guitar
• Toshihiro Kawamura (河村俊博): Bass
• Yusuke "Charlie" Takahashi (高橋佑介): Drums

Cherry released several singles and one full-length album during their career. Their music was featured in various anime and television shows, which helped them gain wider recognition. Some of their notable songs include "Secret", "Nightmare", and "Jewelry days".

After disbanding in 2009, the members pursued individual musical projects. Kana Yabuki continued to perform as a solo artist.
