John Fleming (bishop)

John Fleming (died 1426) was a Scottish clergyman who served as Bishop of Glasgow.

Fleming was appointed Bishop of Glasgow in 1420. Prior to this, he held the position of Canon of Glasgow. His episcopate saw continued efforts to secure the independence of the Scottish Church from the Archbishop of York. During his time as bishop, he was involved in diplomatic missions to England and played a role in negotiations related to the release of King James I of Scotland from English captivity. He died in 1426.
