Khandowa
Khandowa, also sometimes spelled as Khandwa, is a city and a municipal corporation in the Nimar region of Madhya Pradesh, India. It serves as the administrative headquarters of the Khandwa district.
Khandwa is a historical city with ancient roots. It holds significance as a Jain pilgrimage center, housing numerous Jain temples. Additionally, it is known for its association with the singer Kishore Kumar, who was born there. The city is located on the bank of the Narmada River, an important river in central India.
