Harry Turner (American football)

Harry Turner (born in Chicago, Illinois) is a former American football linebacker. He played college football at the University of Illinois.

Turner was drafted by the New York Giants in the sixth round of the 1960 NFL Draft. He played for the Giants for three seasons, from 1960 to 1962. He later played for the Washington Redskins in 1963 and the Minnesota Vikings from 1964-1967. He was known for his hard-hitting style of play and was a key contributor on special teams. After his playing career, he worked in the sporting goods industry.
