Harry Bentley (jockey)

Harry Bentley is a British jockey primarily known for his success in Qatar and Hong Kong. Born in 1992, Bentley began his career in the UK, riding as an apprentice for trainer Paul Cole. He quickly gained recognition for his skills and moved to Qatar in 2011, becoming a leading jockey there for several years.

Bentley’s Qatari success opened doors to international opportunities, and he became a regular rider in Hong Kong from the 2021/2022 racing season. He has secured numerous victories in both Qatar and Hong Kong, including Group and Listed races. While based primarily in Hong Kong, Bentley continues to ride internationally when opportunities arise. He is known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his profession.
