Ned Segal

Ned Segal is an American business executive known primarily for his role as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Twitter, Inc. (now X Corp.) from 2017 to 2023.

Segal joined Twitter in August 2017, reporting to CEO Jack Dorsey. As CFO, he was responsible for overseeing Twitter's financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, tax, treasury, investor relations, and corporate development. He played a key role in the company's efforts to achieve profitability and growth, and in managing its relationships with investors.

Prior to joining Twitter, Segal held various leadership positions in the technology and finance sectors. He served as Senior Vice President of Finance at Intuit, where he was responsible for corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, and investor relations. Before Intuit, he spent 17 years at Goldman Sachs, where he held various roles in investment banking and equity research, focusing primarily on the technology, media, and telecommunications industries.

Segal holds a B.S. in Economics from Indiana University Bloomington.

His tenure at Twitter ended following the acquisition of the company by Elon Musk in October 2022 and the subsequent reorganization of the company's leadership structure in 2023.
