Aviatico

Aviatico is a commune (municipality) located in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy. It is situated approximately 60 kilometers northeast of Milan and about 14 kilometers northeast of Bergamo. Aviatico is primarily a mountain village located in the Seriana Valley. The economy is largely based on tourism, particularly during the summer months, due to its location in the Alps. Historically, the area was involved in agriculture and livestock farming. The population is relatively small, typically around 500 inhabitants. Points of interest include the local church and the surrounding natural landscape which offers opportunities for hiking and other outdoor activities.
