Motešice
Motešice is a village and municipality in Bánovce nad Bebravou District in the Trenčín Region of western Slovakia. It lies in the Danubian Lowland, near the foothills of the Strážovské vrchy mountains. The municipality covers an area of approximately 7.6 square kilometers (2.9 square miles) and has a population of around 1,200 people (as of 2023).
Historically, the first written record of Motešice dates back to 1208. The village's economy is primarily based on agriculture and light industry. The municipality also benefits from its proximity to larger towns and cities in the Trenčín Region, allowing residents to commute for work.
