David Kilgour (musician)

David Kilgour (born 1957 in Dunedin, New Zealand) is a New Zealand musician and songwriter, best known as a founding member of the influential indie rock band The Clean.

Kilgour is a significant figure in the Dunedin sound, a genre of indie rock originating in Dunedin in the 1980s characterized by jangly guitars, lo-fi production, and a melodic sensibility.
