Morpheus (hotel)

The Morpheus is a luxury hotel located in Macau, China, designed by architect Zaha Hadid Architects. It is part of the City of Dreams resort complex in Cotai. Characterized by its distinctive free-form exoskeleton and multiple voids, the hotel stands as a significant example of contemporary architecture and engineering.

Construction of the Morpheus hotel began in 2012 and was completed in 2018. The building's unique design eschews traditional internal structural supports, instead relying on a steel exoskeleton to provide structural integrity. This design allowed for the creation of a fluid, interconnected interior space.

The hotel features approximately 770 guest rooms, suites, and sky villas. In addition to accommodation, the Morpheus offers a range of amenities including a rooftop pool, multiple restaurants, and a spa. The hotel is noted for its design and use of advanced construction techniques.
