Mohamad Fares (footballer, born 1990)

Mohamad Fares (born 15 February 1990) is a Lebanese professional footballer who plays as a defender for Lebanese Premier League club Ansar.

Career

Fares began his career in Lebanon, playing for Nejmeh before moving to Sweden. He played for Syrianska FC Kerburan, Assyriska FF and Dalkurd FF in the Swedish lower divisions.

He returned to Lebanon in 2017, joining Ansar. He has remained with the club since, becoming a key member of their defense.

International Career

Fares has represented Lebanon internationally. He received his first call-up and made his debut for the Lebanon national team in 2018.
