Mogpog
Mogpog is a first-class municipality in the province of Marinduque, Philippines. It is located on the northeastern part of the island. The municipality is known for its rice terraces, beaches, and the historical "Battle of Paye" which took place during the Philippine-American War. Mogpog is primarily an agricultural area, with rice and coconut being major crops. It is also known for its production of uraro cookies and other local delicacies. The municipality is subdivided into barangays, each with its own local government and community. Mogpog experiences a tropical climate with distinct wet and dry seasons.
