Mitribah
Mitribah is a weather station located in Kuwait, known for recording some of the highest temperatures on Earth. Specifically, Mitribah recorded a temperature of 53.9 °C (129.0 °F) on July 21, 2016. This is considered the highest temperature ever reliably measured in the continental region of Asia and one of the highest temperatures ever recorded globally. The climate in Mitribah is characterized by extremely hot and dry summers. The high temperatures are often attributed to the region's geographic location, being inland and subject to high pressure systems.
