Michal Beran (footballer)
Michal Beran (born July 26, 1973) is a Czech former professional footballer who played as a midfielder.
Beran spent the majority of his career in the Czech Republic, playing for clubs such as SK Dynamo České Budějovice, FK Viktoria Žižkov, FC Slovan Liberec, and FK Jablonec. He also had a spell abroad with Grazer AK in Austria.
During his time at Slovan Liberec, Beran was part of the squad that won the Czech Cup in 2000. He was known for his work rate and versatility in midfield.
Since retiring from professional football, Beran has been involved in coaching, often at the youth level.
