Merianus
Merianus is a genus of trilobite belonging to the order Proetida, and the family Proetidae. These trilobites lived during the Devonian period. Merianus is characterized by its relatively smooth exoskeleton, distinct glabellar furrows, and pygidium exhibiting several distinct axial rings. Fossil specimens have been found in various regions, contributing to the understanding of Devonian marine ecosystems and trilobite evolution.
